My Take
Okay, I have to talk about that voice first, because how does a frame that lean push out a roar that big? Taka fronts ONE OK ROCK like he's trying to leave nothing in the tank, screaming himself ragged yet somehow never losing pitch, and that combo of recklessness and control is genuinely rare. What gets me, though, is the backstory: born to two huge Japanese music names and basically destined for a safe, paved road, he went and picked rock instead and dragged the band onto stages way outside Japan. I love that stubbornness. Watching him slide between Japanese and English in front of massive crowds without flinching, you see a guy who decided what he wanted and just committed. Plenty of people sing well. He sings like he needs you to actually feel it, and that's the part that grabs me.
