My Take

Tamás Kádár interests me for his precocity and his versatility. A 188 cm Hungarian defender born in Veszprém in 1990, he debuted for Zalaegerszegi TE at just 16, an age when most players are still in academy obscurity. Comfortable at both centre-back and left-back, he is the sort of adaptable defender every manager values, the safe pair of hands you can slot in almost anywhere. He won Hungary U-21 honours and now plays for MTK Budapest. He may never headline a highlight reel, but that dependable consistency is precisely what sustains a long career, and I have real admiration for the understated craftsmen of defending.
