Tasha Reign

I refuse to flatten Tasha Reign, born Rachel Swimmer, into a single label. Yes, she earned Playboy and Penthouse recognition and adult-industry awards, but what interests me more is that she studied at Santa Monica College and works as a sex educator, producer, and columnist. The instinct to move from being looked at to doing the looking, to writing and explaining her own world, signals a kind of intelligence the industry rarely gets credit for. I admire performers who insist on owning their narrative and thinking out loud about their work, and on that count she has clearly earned my respect.
