Tia Ballard

Tia Ballard, from Paris, Texas, is the kind of voice actor who makes English-language anime feel native rather than translated. Roles like Zero Two in Darling in the Franxx and Itsuki Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets show real range, and her work as an ADR director means she shapes performances from the other side of the glass too. I have always thought dubbing is underrated craft: you are not just reciting lines, you are rebuilding a character's soul in another language. That she does it with evident affection for the source material is exactly why fans like me are grateful she keeps at it.
