My Take
Tony Jaa rewired what I expect from action cinema. Coming out of Surin in rural Thailand, he built a body of work on real, unfaked stunts rooted in Muay Thai, and the physical honesty of that approach still puts a lot of CGI-heavy blockbusters to shame.
