Troy Brown Jr.

Troy Brown Jr. embodies the modern basketball journeyman in the best sense. After a single season at Oregon he backed himself into the 2018 NBA draft and went 15th to the Wizards, the sort of early gamble that separates believers from hopefuls. What I respect most is the persistence: rather than fading away, he has kept chasing minutes, even taking his game overseas to the Australian league. Staying on the court when the spotlight drifts elsewhere demands a stubborn love of the game. I find that quieter kind of dedication genuinely easy to root for.
