My Take
Vitali Klitschko fascinates me because his life has two acts that almost no one else could pull off. First the dominant heavyweight champion, then the mayor of Kyiv standing watch over a city under wartime pressure. Athletes turning to politics is common enough, but rarely with this much genuine stake and seriousness. There's a directness to him, the same composure that won titles now channeled into protecting his people. I find that continuity admirable rather than opportunistic; the discipline reads as real. Whatever one thinks of the politics, the sheer resolve of trading the ring for the front line of a besieged capital earns my respect.
