My Take
I have a soft spot for character actors who quietly elevate everything they touch, and Wade Williams is a prime example. His Brad Bellick on Prison Break was loathsome yet oddly human, the kind of antagonist that makes a show worth watching. What impresses me is his range across television, film, stage, and voice work, including villains like Black Mask and Two-Face in animated Batman features. Rutgers-trained and relentlessly versatile, he is the sort of dependable journeyman who never headlines but always delivers. Stories gain depth from performers like him, and I think he is badly underappreciated.
