Wang Yuwen

Wang Yuwen is someone I'm still forming an opinion on, in the best way. Born in 1997, she broke through in An Elephant Sitting Still (2018), then carried popular series like Once We Get Married and The Love You Give Me. What strikes me is the sheer scale of competition in Chinese acting; just getting your name remembered there is a brutal filter, and she's pushed through it. The earnest, fresh-faced roles are a starting point, not a ceiling. I'm curious whether she stretches into harder material. Right now she reads as real potential, and I like watching that stage.
