Xander Berkeley

You may not know Xander Berkeley's name, but you've almost certainly seen his face. With over 200 film and television credits, he's one of those character actors who quietly props up the movies we love, from Terminator 2 and Apollo 13 to Air Force One and Gattaca. He can play a slithering villain or a steady supporting man, and he handles voice work too. To me, performers like him are the unsung backbone of cinema: they rarely headline, but a film feels thinner without them. I think of him as a hidden lead, the kind of pro who makes everyone around him better.
