My Take
Xochitl Gomez is one of the most promising young talents I'm watching right now. Stepping into the Marvel machine as America Chavez at such a young age takes real nerve, and she handled it without looking overwhelmed. What impresses me more is the foundation underneath the breakout: years of local theater starting at age five, then The Baby-Sitters Club building her footing. A Forbes 30 Under 30 nod this early says the industry agrees. I'd bet on her trajectory, because everything so far suggests this is only the prologue of a long career.
