Zach Woods is one of those actors who makes me laugh before he says a word. From Gabe on The Office to Jared on Silicon Valley, he has perfected the awkward, oddly resilient weirdo, mining comedy from silence and discomfort rather than punchlines. His NYU improv roots show in how he lives in the gaps of a script, finding the funny in hesitation. I love that he commits fully to characters most people would play broadly.
