My Take
Being the child of Robin Williams could easily flatten an identity, but what draws me to Zelda Williams is that she refuses to be a footnote to her father's legend. She voices, she acts, and she directs, quietly building a body of work on her own terms rather than coasting on a famous surname. Her turn as Kuvira in The Legend of Korra showed real range, and her move behind the camera signals genuine creative ambition. I admire artists who inherit a giant shadow and choose to step sideways into their own light. She feels like one of them, steady and self-possessed.
