My Take

Abel Ruiz is a name I've watched with curious eyes, because he carries that classic weight of a Barcelona academy product who never quite broke through there. Just one first-team appearance, then a move to Braga in 2020 where he actually won silverware with the Taca de Portugal. To me that's the more honest version of a football career, finding your level and thriving rather than forcing a fairytale. Now at Girona and capped by Spain, the forward from Almussafes feels like someone still writing his story. I'm rooting for him to prove the early hype wasn't misplaced.
