My Take
Honestly, when I first saw the name Ancham I figured she was purely a gravure idol — cute name, makes sense. Then I found out she's also a pro wrestler and I had to do a double take. Born in 1998, raised in Nagano prefecture of all places, and somehow this woman ended up doing both the ring and the shoot. That combination is rarer than people realize; pro wrestling demands a specific physicality and showmanship that's actually pretty different from what gravure asks for, yet she's apparently pulling off both. My read on her is someone who moves at her own pace and doesn't feel the need to announce it. I have no idea where she's headed, but the double-threat energy is real, and I'm curious to see how she uses it.
