My Take

I have a soft spot for the unseen architects, and Andrew Form is one of the best. A New York-born producer, he co-founded Platinum Dunes with Michael Bay and Brad Fuller, and his fingerprints are on Friday the 13th, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Purge and A Quiet Place. His name never looms large on the marquee, yet turning ideas into financed, cast, finished films that pin audiences to their seats is a craft I genuinely covet.
