Angèle

Angèle fascinates me as a true polymath: pianist, singer-songwriter, actor, voice actor, even DJ producer. Breaking Stromae's record for weeks atop the Belgian charts with "Tout oublier" in 2018 was no fluke; it announced a distinctive voice in French-language pop. What I admire most is how she pairs disarmingly honest, conversational lyrics with sleek, modern production. The family thread, collaborating with her brother Roméo Elvis, hints at a household soaked in music. She feels like an artist who treats fame with a knowing, slightly ironic eye rather than chasing it. I expect her catalogue to age into something genuinely enduring.
