My Take

Carrying the Manning name is both a gift and a target, and Arch handles the spotlight with a level head that impresses me. He could have cashed in early on his bloodline, but instead he sat patiently behind a starter at Texas and learned the system, which tells you a lot about his maturity. The arm talent and football IQ are obviously there, but what I find most compelling is the restraint. Whether he reaches the heights of Peyton and Eli is an open question, yet I am genuinely curious to watch a young quarterback grow up under the heaviest expectations in the sport.
