Atsushi Sakurada

Born in 1951, Atsushi Sakurada came into the world when postwar Japan was still pulling itself up from rubble — and honestly, that context alone tells you something about the generation he belongs to. Business figures from that era tend to have a certain understated toughness to them, built not from branding or PR but from just showing up and grinding. He went from an advertising agency job to helping launch MOS Burger and eventually running the company, and the fact that his name surfaces without him playing the media game suggests the work spoke for itself.
