Ayaka Shiomura

Gravure model, then broadcast writer, then a seat in Japan's House of Councillors. Read that resume cold and you assume it belongs to three people. The middle step is the telling one: someone who wrote for television knows how a message lands and where an argument slips. Born in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, 1978. A chamber of tidy careers would be worse.
