My Take
What draws me to Barry Windham is the weight of legacy. As the son of Blackjack Mulligan, he could have coasted on a famous name, but instead he carved out his own reputation across the NWA and WWF and earned a WWE Hall of Fame spot on merit. At 198 cm he had the frame, but it was his crisp, almost artistic in-ring technique that aged best. He never chased flash for its own sake. I have a soft spot for craftsmen like this, the quietly excellent who let the work speak louder than the persona.
