Ben Barnes

Ben Barnes is a fascinating case of an actor outgrowing his launchpad. He arrived as the dashing Prince Caspian, an easy heartthrob slot, and then deliberately walked away from it. Logan in Westworld, Jigsaw in The Punisher, the Darkling in Shadow and Bone; he's spent the years since chasing shadow and menace, and he's good at it. Add a stage background and a real musical streak and you get someone restless in the best way. I respect performers who treat good looks as a tool rather than a crutch, and I'm curious how far he'll push.
