My Take

Ben Schwartz is one of those performers whose voice I recognized long before I could place the face. As Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation he turned a few scenes into pure chaos, and then he quietly became Sonic for a whole generation of kids. I find that range genuinely impressive: motormouth comedy on one side, a beloved animated hero on the other. The Emmy for original music and lyrics also hints at a writer's brain underneath the improv energy. He strikes me as someone having an enormous amount of fun, and that joy is contagious. Honestly, I'd watch him in almost anything.
