Brad Dourif is my favorite kind of actor: the one whose face you may not immediately place, but whose presence you never forget. He earned acclaim as the fragile Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, then spent decades terrifying audiences as the voice of Chucky and slithering through Middle-earth as Grima Wormtongue. I would argue he is one of the most quietly influential supporting players in American film, and I respect that far more than stardom.
