My Take
What I admire about Brenna D'Amico is how she made Jane, the Fairy Godmother's daughter in Disney's Descendants, genuinely likable in a story built around villains' kids. Playing the earnest good-girl in that ensemble is harder than it looks, and she pulled it off with charm. Born in 2000, she belongs to a generation still defining itself, and the singing-plus-acting combination gives her real room to grow. I find myself rooting for the quieter performers like her, the ones who hold a scene without grabbing the spotlight. There's an unhurried potential here I'd genuinely like to see develop.
