My Take

Furlan is someone who read her moment perfectly. A girl from small-town Pennsylvania who became the most-followed woman on Vine at its peak, she had the timing and nerve to make people laugh in six seconds, which is far harder than it looks. What earns my respect is the staying power once the platform died, pivoting into comedy and acting rather than fading with the trend. Virality is fleeting, but she used it as a launchpad.
