My Take

What strikes me about Carlo Rota is how he became the kind of actor whose face you recognize long before his name. Across Little Mosque on the Prairie, 24's Morris O'Brian, and Jane the Virgin, he's worked steadily on both sides of the Atlantic, building a British-Canadian career out of memorable supporting roles rather than top billing.
