Christian Cage, real name William Jason Reso, is proof that the best heel in wrestling is one who never throws a punch with his fists when his mouth will do. Born 1973 in Ontario, he debuted in 1995 and has outlasted entire eras, from the tag-team days alongside Adam Copeland to a late-career renaissance in AEW as one of its sharpest talkers. I love that he reinvented himself as the smug, cowardly veteran instead of trying to stay a babyface forever. At 185cm he is no monster; his weapon is timing and condescension. Longevity in this business is no accident, and he has earned every year.
