My Take

Christopher Kindred, better known as Flash Flanagan and Slash Venom, embodies a kind of wrestling I deeply respect. He touched the big stages of WWE, TNA and the International Wrestling Association, yet much of his story plays out across independent promotions like Xtreme Championship Wrestling. To me, that itinerant grind, working ring after ring under different personas, is the true measure of a craftsman. From Indianapolis to leagues around the world, he chased the work rather than just the spotlight. I'll always tip my hat to performers who keep the crowd roaring far from the marquee.
