My Take
Clark Duke is one of those faces that instantly registers even when you can't name him, and I mean that as the highest compliment. From Kick-Ass to Hot Tub Time Machine to The Croods, he's the scene-tightening presence who never demands the spotlight yet makes the frame work. That deadpan, bespectacled comic timing is weirdly addictive. What I like most is the range hidden under the type-casting: he writes, directs, and voices too. Hollywood runs on dependable supporting players, and Duke is exactly that breed. Give me a memorable character actor over a forgettable lead any day of the week.
