My Take

Cleopatra Coleman has a name built for top billing and, I'd argue, the slow-burn career to match it. From child roles on Australian television like Neighbours to her American breakout as Erica on The Last Man on Earth, she's the kind of performer who lays a foundation brick by brick before blooming. What grabs me is the range she keeps reaching for, acting on screen and stage and stepping behind the camera as a director too. I have a real soft spot for artists who build patiently rather than chase overnight fame. There's a Scorpio steeliness about her trajectory, and I expect to see her name on bigger marquees soon.
