My Take

Cooper Andrews fascinates me because he is proof that range isn't just about acting roles. He worked as a boom operator, stunt coordinator, and assistant director before breaking through as the warm, kind-hearted Jerry on The Walking Dead, a character who became a fan favorite in a show full of grim survivors. Then he stepped into the DC universe as Victor Vasquez in Shazam! and its sequel. I love that he came up through the crew side of production; you can feel that hands-on understanding of filmmaking in how grounded and unfussy his screen presence is. He reads as genuinely likable, and that warmth is hard to fake.
