Edsel Ford II

Edsel Ford II carries a name that is practically American industrial history. As the great-grandson of Henry Ford, a Detroit native and Babson College graduate, he served on Ford Motor Company's board for 33 years. Being born into a founding dynasty is as much a burden as a privilege, and I respect the quiet resolve it takes to steward a legendary name rather than simply spend its prestige. I tend to favor people who commit decades to the family enterprise over flashier self-made entrepreneurs. His involvement in the sustainability and innovation committee also hints at a willingness to steer the legacy toward the future, which I find quietly admirable.
