Eric J. Topol

Eric J. Topol is, in my view, one of the most important bridges between medicine and technology working today. A cardiologist and geneticist who founded the Scripps Research Translational Institute, he refuses to stay in a single lane, pushing genomics and digital health toward a more personalized future. What I respect most is his commitment to clear public communication; he translates dense science into language ordinary people can act on. In an age awash with health misinformation, a rigorous, generous expert who actually engages the public feels invaluable, and his work quietly improves the odds for all of us.
