My Take
French Stewart is forever locked in my memory as Harry Solomon, the squinting, gleefully clueless alien on 3rd Rock from the Sun. That show let him build a whole comic identity out of physical tics, and I think he committed harder than the writing sometimes deserved. He later took the Inspector Gadget mantle in the sequel and turned up as Chef Rudy on Mom, which shows a working actor who kept finding the rhythm of an ensemble. I have a soft spot for character actors who own a single unforgettable role, and Harry is exactly that. You instantly hear the voice the moment you see his face.
