My Take
What draws me to Fritz Lee isn't a highlight reel, it's the geography of his career: from the Samoan Islands all the way to Clermont in France's brutally competitive Top 14, where he plays number eight. That's the grind position, the one that does the unglamorous work at the back of the scrum, and he held it down at the top level well into his thirties. Samoan rugby tends to get praised for raw athleticism, but I'd rather credit Lee's durability and discipline. The longevity is the real headline here, and I respect quiet, persistent excellence like his.
