Fūko Yagura

There is something fitting about an Osaka-born girl being part of NMB48, the group built around a theater in Namba. Fuko Yagura, born in 1997, belonged to Team M, and that means she spent the messiest stretch of her teenage years being watched, counted, and ranked in public. She passed NMB48's second-generation audition in 2011 and also held a concurrent spot in AKB48's Team A from 2013 to 2015. She has since left the group and now works as an actress, a multi-talent and a game streamer, which suggests she found a second act on her own terms.
