My Take

Georgiy Sudakov is the kind of young footballer I'd circle on a scouting list and check back on every season. Born in 2002 in Brianka in Ukraine's Luhansk region, he rose through Shakhtar Donetsk and earned a move to Benfica on loan, all while playing for the Ukraine national team. An attacking midfielder who can also drift to the left, he's carrying both club ambition and the weight of representing a country during difficult years. I think that dual pressure either breaks players or hardens them. Given how early he broke through, my instinct says he's built to handle the spotlight.
