Hiroshige Seko

On paper Seko is the model insider: Waseda, corporate public relations, the upper house from 1998, trade minister under Abe from 2016. He was ahead of his party on communication, using the internet seriously before most politicians did, and he chairs a university. Then the funding scandal cost him that seat, and he went and won a different one.
