Jake Steinfeld

Jake Steinfeld earns my admiration less as an actor than as a sheer force of self-invention. Turning a Brooklyn kid's enthusiasm into the Body by Jake empire is a genuinely American story, and I respect the entrepreneurial instinct that saw home fitness as a brandable lifestyle long before it was obvious. He blurred the line between trainer, performer and businessman, and made working out feel approachable for ordinary viewers. I find that kind of relentless, optimistic hustle genuinely likable, the sort of energy that builds something lasting out of nothing but personality and grit.
