Jason Kravits

Jason Kravits is the kind of character actor I quietly champion. His turn as A.D.A. Richard Bay on The Practice showed a man who could needle, plead, and pivot within a single scene, the unmistakable timing of someone forged on the stage. He rarely headlines, but he is the seasoning that makes an ensemble taste right. Coming out of Rockville, Maryland, he built his craft the unglamorous way, and it shows in how precisely he calibrates every reaction. I have a soft spot for performers who make others look better, and Kravits does exactly that with grace.
