My Take

Jason "Mayhem" Miller is one of those mixed martial arts figures whose personality always outran his win-loss record, and I kind of love that about him. A Fayetteville kid with a taekwondo background, he became as known for hosting and clowning as for actually fighting. The pivot I find most telling is where he landed: "Mayhem the Newsman" on the Adam Carolla Show, which feels like the natural home for someone who was always more entertainer than athlete. At 185 cm he had the frame, but it was the mouth and the camera presence that kept him relevant long after the cage. A genuine showman.
