My Take

Javaris Crittenton's record reads like a study in how thin the margins of an athletic career really are. A 196 cm guard out of Atlanta who reached the NBA via Georgia Tech and suited up for the Lakers, Grizzlies, and Wizards, he had the raw profile of a long-term pro. What strikes me is how easily promise and circumstance can drift apart by inches.
