John Corabi

John Corabi occupies a poignant spot in rock history for me. Fronting Motley Crue during Vince Neil's hiatus, he delivered a self-titled 1994 album that I genuinely rate, even if history handed him a rough deal. What impresses me is that he never soured on the work. He kept singing, kept playing guitar, and kept showing up on stages without the cushion of arena fame. There is something deeply respectable about a journeyman who stays true to the craft rather than the celebrity. To me, Corabi is proof that real rock and rollers simply do not quit.
