Kazutoshi Yamada

Kazutoshi Yamada, born 1965 in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, was a 178 cm utility man for the Chunichi Dragons and Hiroshima Carp who later turned coach; the actor Yuki Yamada is his son. No headline numbers attached. But every club runs on men like this, converting an unfinished playing career into someone else's swing. Nakamura-ku is where Toyotomi Hideyoshi was born. Ordinary ground, long and quiet service, until his death in 2025.
