My Take
Kumiko Tsushimi is one of those artists who first sang with her face hidden. Born on January 24, 1996, in Hagi, she began as a masked, anonymous singer in 243 to Aya Yoshizaki before revealing herself as an actress in 2017. For a singer working in today's overshared, algorithm-chasing landscape, starting out behind a mask feels almost radical. She's not selling a persona — she's selling whatever comes out when she opens her mouth, and honestly? That's a bet I respect.
