My Take

Levi Colwill is one of those defenders who makes you think the future of English football might actually be fine. Born in Southampton in 2003, he came up through the Chelsea academy, had a brilliant loan spell at Brighton where he looked composed beyond his years, and by 2023 he had properly nailed down a first-team spot at Stamford Bridge. What I love about him is how calm he is — tall, reads the game well, brings the ball out with real confidence rather than just booting it. He broke into the senior England squad and looked like he belonged there immediately. He's still barely in his twenties and already feels like a cornerstone, not a prospect. Keep an eye on this guy.
