My Take
Lia, a member of Itzy, interests me because her steadiness is easy to overlook in a group built on high-energy choreography. Holding pitch in the middle of a frantic dance number is unglamorous, foundational work, and she does it reliably. Born in Incheon in 2000 and trained at Seoul Performing Arts High School, she represents the rigorous pipeline behind fourth-generation K-pop. So much of that scene is busy and maximalist that a clean, grounded voice genuinely stands out. I see real room for growth in her, and I am curious how her vocal identity matures as the group does.
