My Take
What strikes me about Lil Mosey is how young the timeline really is. Born in 2002 in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, he was barely fifteen when "Pull Up" went gold and pulled him into an Interscope deal. That's the SoundCloud-rap pipeline in a nutshell, and I always find it bittersweet: a kid going from a Seattle suburb to RIAA certification before he can legally drink. His melodic, sing-rap style felt very of-its-moment to me, and you can hear why "Noticed" caught on. I'm curious how an artist who broke that early settles into a longer career rather than a single viral burst.
