Lisa McGrillis

Lisa McGrillis is the kind of actor I instinctively trust on screen. Rather than chasing a single breakout role, she has built a quietly formidable body of work across British television, from the warmth of Hebburn and Mum to grittier turns and recent hits like Sex Education and Rivals. A Cheltenham native and Northumbria graduate, she belongs to that invaluable class of performers who steady a scene the moment they appear. I have always preferred this kind of patient, reputation-built career to overnight fame. When McGrillis shows up in a cast list, I expect the work to be good.
